While designing of support system, both policy and procedure should be considered. For better result policy or procedure should be chosen according to the situation. Policies are mostly guidelines implemented in a company. Suppose a company needs new products, then those policies would help to bring in unique qualities of the product. While assessing new areas of selling the guidelines will help a lot although in this case procedure will also help.
There should not be false information that can lead one to formulate wrong policies or wrong decisions. One should also make sure that they focus on continuous development and improvement of the employees and should give them various opportunities to develop themselves. An organization should be aware of the decisions they make and the impact these decisions will have on the organization and how to manage the work properly.
